TIMS Users Group Conference

Cashbook attended the TIMS Users Group Conference in Billings, MT last week. The event took place on Sep 8-11 at the Doubletree Hotel in Billings, Montana. Hosted by Computers Unlimited, it was a resounding success, featuring 160 attendees from across the US and Canada. This yearly gathering serves as a focal point for cooperative talks regarding TIMS development and provides a special chance for users to connect, exchange ideas, and shape the future of the software. The event featured a diverse range of topics, all aimed at optimizing the functionality and user experience of TIMS.

David Schaer, President of Computers Unlimited, gave an energizing keynote address to kick off the event. He praised the accomplishments of the previous year and gave a summary of the most recent TIMS enhancements, product adoption, and key product initiatives. The conference’s itinerary was jam-packed with educational sessions for both seasoned users and novices alike. Each attendee left with fresh insights and suggestions for improving their use of TIMS in their respective fields.

Cashbook was a gold sponsor for the event. As an exhibitor, we held a booth to meet and network with other attendees. Greg Coulter presented with  Paul Licary from Arc3 on Tuesday in a speaking slot titled ‘Cash Automation – Work Smarter, Not Harder’. Paul spoke very highly of our team and the ROI Arc3 has seen from us. Welders Supply & Gases, Sidney Lee Welding Supply and Matheson spoke briefly about Cashbook as well. They gave great praise which means the world to us, reminding us how grateful we are to be a part of this amazing community. Representing Cashbook at the event was Partners Director Haroon Panezai, CEO Greg Coulter, Implementations and Support Consultant Denise Mills and Senior Business Analyst Tony Cantillon. They were delighted to experience all aspects of education, networking and scenic views in Montana.

A special mention to our prize winner Systems Administrator Matt Sturgeon from ILMO Products Company! Haroon proudly presented Matt with his prize and posed for a picture.

In addition to providing an educational platform, the conference demonstrated the vibrant community and dedication to innovation that surround the TIMS platform. A promising direction for the upcoming year is established by the passionate participation and idea sharing at this event, which certainly highlighted the vibrant environment that Computers Unlimited has fostered around TIMS.
