Introducing Ron Smith in Business Development Role

Cashbook are pleased to introduce Ron Smith as a new member of our team. Ron is joining Cashbook with immediate effect in a new Business Development role based in the US.

Ron Smith is a well-known IBMi ERP consultant, who resides in the Southeast of the United States. Living near Charlotte in North Carolina, Ron has over 40 years’ experience in the consulting industry. Ron has a vast experience behind him that started off with MAPICS/XA in 1979, then with BPCS/LX in 1989, and System 21 in 2010. Ron also has huge experience with ORACLE (JDE), SAP, and BAAN (M3). Recently retired from Infor after almost 20 years of dedicated service to them, Ron was looking for his next challenge.

Working with over 600 customers of various sizes in over 15 countries, Ron has participated in more than 200 successful ERP implementations. He has served with Infor, MAPICS, SSA, and Computer Systems, Inc. as a Senior Business Consultant, Pre-Sales Consultant, Senior Project Manager, and most recently as a Senior Solution Architect. Ron is proficient in working within all areas of Small business to the larger Multinational companies. Experienced from the plant floor to the board room, Ron has a sincere passion for consulting and finding relative solutions to complex business challenges. His encouraging and team-oriented style has led the companies with whom he worked to highly successful implementations. He has a high degree of integrity, and is well respected not only by his customers but also by his peers in the Software industry.

Ron will be based in the US and will be working with Cashbook in his new Business Development role. He will be assisting our sales team in applying the powerful functionality of Cashbook to both small and large customers. It’s great to have you on board Ron and a warm welcome to the Cashbook team!
