Introducing Jaan Kivilo in Business Development role

Cashbook would like to welcome Jaan Kivilo to the Cashbook team. Jaan is Swedish and has joined the team in a Business Development role covering the Nordics region of Europe. He brings with him a great knowledge of financial processes, cash management automation and ERP integrations in the Nordic Treasury/Fintech sector.

Jaan qualified with a degree in Economics from the University of Gothenburg, and followed this up with a Master of Business Administration (MBA). It was in Gothenburg University that Jaan developed a passion for the financial sector. He speaks his native Swedish along with a proficient level of English. Over the last 30 years, Jaan has been working in management positions at Handelsbanken, a Swedish commercial/retail bank. The home market for Handelsbanken is the Nordic countries, the UK and the Netherlands.

The banking experience that Jaan brings to the table is immense. He has experience of RFP´s, bank proposals, evaluation issues, pricing of banking business, syndicated loans and implementation of new financial solutions. His colleagues describe him as a ‘visionary thinker’ with the competence and drive to identify new business opportunities. Jaan’s all-around financial capabilities have been used to deliver internal training at Handelsbanken, and to become a speaker at many financial conferences. Jaan has also started Kivilo Consulting in 2018.

This great financial experience and network of connections make Jaan a perfect fit for this exciting and challenging business development role.
