In July, Cashbook packed up its brand-new exhibition stand and headed off to New York city, where we had an exciting and highly informative four days at the Inforum 2017 conference. Greg, Mary, David and Michael attended what was Cashbooks seventh consecutive Inforum as an Infor partner, and it was certainly our best one yet. We found the Inforum partner summit on the first day to be very informative, along with the exciting announcements by Infor of their new cloud-based artificial intelligence platform, Coleman, along with the new Infor Concierge and Networked CloudSuites. These announcements show that there are exciting times ahead for Infor, and that they truly want to be the best enterprise software provider out there.
Once the exhibition kicked off in the main hall, Cashbook got to meet some great business people who were highly informed and very interested in Cashbooks products, in particular our Cash Application and Bank Reconciliation solutions. We also got to meet some familiar faces, people who are our longest standing customers, and some of whom have been with us since 1997! We had a great time showing off Cashbooks newly developed OCR functionality, and our Deductions solution which can help save users thousands in otherwise lost deductions that contribute directly to the bottom line.
Our CEO, Greg Coulter was a guest speaker at Inforum this year. Greg delivered a rousing speech on Cash Application Automation, the huge benefits of Cashbooks solutions and how they integrate with ERP systems such as Lawson, M3, S3, XA, LX, JDE, and BPCS. Greg talked about how Cashbooks longevity and incomparable support is differentiating us from the competition. Greg closed with a piece on industry trends, specifically digitization and robotics, and about how they are going to have a huge impact.
Overall, Inforum 2017 was a huge success, it was great to meet people who knew exactly what their business required, and we really enjoyed showing them the power and flexibility of Cashbooks products. Bruno Mars entertained the attendees and exhibitors at the customer appreciation concert, unfortunately for David and Michael they were “locked out of heaven” as they had to catch a flight home, while Greg and Mary enjoyed some “uptown funk” in downtown Manhattan! We are already looking forward to Inforum 2018, and we hope to see you all there in Washington, D.C.
