Due to the unexpected outbreak of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) across Europe and the rest of the world. Cashbook take the risk of Covid-19 extremely seriously, and are closely following guidance from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Health Service Executive (HSE) in Ireland. Covid-19 is a situation that requires the full attention of everyone in the world.
At Cashbook, our staff are permitted to work remotely during this time if required. All our staff are following strict personal hygiene guidelines in the office to prevent infection, to protect themselves and to help limit the spread of the virus in our community. Pre-planned customer visits and conferences for Cashbook in 2020 are all being evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We will not be making any international or domestic trips that are deemed unnecessary. Cashbook will do this to avoid putting our staff and customers at risk. We are in direct contact with our customers and will adhere to the on-site protocols they have put in place for Covid-19. The health and wellbeing of both Cashbook staff and customers are of the utmost importance to us, now and always.
Cashbook are under no illusions of the personal and economic impact Covid-19 will have on a global scale for individuals and organizations. The economic impact could be devastating for certain industries and may take a long time to recover. Cashbook would like to inform our customers that we have taken the necessary steps to ensure there are zero impacts to supporting, implementing and developing our software products. We promote a flexible working environment at all times, and have the technical and operational set-up to continue business during these unique circumstances. Our development, support and implementation teams are all working as normal. All existing Cashbook product upgrades and product implementations will continue as scheduled.
Clearly, this is an extraordinary and trying time for all of us. We will have to navigate these uncertain waters together. One thing is clear, that we all need to remain united and listen to the expert advice and guidance from the WHO, Government Health Services, and our healthcare professionals. We need to use our best judgment when making decisions that could impact, and have tragic consequences for others. If we can all do that, the spread of Covid-19 will certainly slow and subsequently we can all get back to living our lives as usual.
Look after yourselves and your loved ones during this period. If you are feeling unwell, follow the guidelines and procedures set out by your government and notify them immediately. If Cashbook customers have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us, our team are monitoring our support inbox.
