Cashbook Staff Photo Competition 2020

Earlier this year we done a feature on what our staff had been getting up to during lockdown in Ireland. That feature unearthed some hidden talents amongst us, we discovered some secret gardeners, oil painters and D-I-Y experts. So, we decided that the time was right to launch the inaugural Cashbook Staff Photo Competition 2020.

We were looking for any type of photography – scenic, abstract, architectural, still life, or even pictures of pets! All of our staff are very well travelled and have been to all corners of the globe, Ireland is also one of the most beautiful countries in the world for any budding photographers. An island full of history with stunning landscapes.

We had a fantastic response from staff to this competition, and we discovered they all have a keen eye for that perfect shot. We received some beautiful entries and it became quite difficult to pick our top three winners. After much deliberating we finally decided the winners of the Cashbook staff photo competition 2020. We have listed the successful entries below along with their winning photo. We have also listed pictures from other notable entries.

We hope you enjoyed these photos as much as we did while judging them. It really is beautiful to see such stunning images in a year where we were deprived of travelling. After the great success of this competition, we look forward to holding the Cashbook Staff Photo Competition 2021. When travel returns to normal, I am sure we will all avail of that simple pleasure we took for granted. This time we will have the camera ready to capture the perfect image!
