Greg is the CEO of Cashbook, with over 20 years of experience in Cash Management automation processes. Greg is responsible for Cash Management implementations around the globe, resulting in implementation of Cash Management software solutions in over 25 countries.
Greg holds a 1st Class Honours degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Otago in New Zealand. He is also a CIMA qualified Accountant, and this year is celebrating his 22nd year as CEO.
Providing leadership to the board and helping Cashbook to implement its global strategy.
Greg is the Chairman of Cashbook, with more than 26 years of experience working globally for the Shell Oil company across various managerial positions. Greg’s managerial roles varied including technical, commercial, asset management and new business development. For the last 10 years Greg has managed a global portfolio of business in property development, cinema and negotiations consultancy.
Greg brings a broad entrepreneurial skill set that will drive our strategy of developing world leading products, matched with best in class service and support. Greg holds a 1st Class Honours degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
Leads all aspects of product design & enhancements of all cash automation modules.
Mary, a Certified Public Accountant, joined Cashbook in 1999 with 12 years of accounting experience. She began in a Technical Support role which progressed to the role of overseeing the advancement of functionality and design for all cash management software products. Mary has recently been assigned as Chief Product Officer of Cashbook in which she will lead our team to further enhancement of the various software modules that Cashbook provides.
As an early member of the Cashbook team, Mary has many years of insights and experience to share from an impressive portfolio of successful projects for an array of global companies. Mary has also spent time in the US, on site with clients and directing implementations. Her new role as Chief Product Officer will be based in our Irish HQ in County Limerick.
Orchestrates the finance to power the Cashbook engine
Marian joined Cashbook in 1995 and was appointed Finance Director of Cashbook in 2002. Marian’s responsibilities include corporate finance, treasury, financial reporting, accounting, tax, internal control, and business support for both the Irish company and US subsidiary based in Chicago.
Marian has over 25 years’ experience in Finance, mostly through a number of roles with Dell. Prior to Cashbook, Marian worked for SAI as Finance Manager for the Limerick and US office and was involved in the sale of this company to Clarus Corporation for $60 million.
Musician and Industry Veteran
A Southern California native, husband, and father of 3, Mike excels in both technical and creative domains, bringing a wealth of experience to the table. With over 20 years of expertise in the ‘Order To Cash’ sector as a former software engineer for Cforia (employee #2), Mike has architected core functionality, implemented, and overseen projects for some of the biggest companies in the world, including Dow Jones, UL Laboratories, Lexis Nexis, Ferrero Rocher, and Autonation.
Concurrently, his musical journey has been equally fulfilling, composing scores for over 100 Lifetime TV movies and lending his production talents to the network. Mike’s songwriting endeavors also include collaborative ventures with emerging artists like John Kaner and 7eventh Time Down, as well as legendary bands like Chicago.
An industry veteran with decades of experience.
Tom Scott leads North American sales for Cashbook. He joined Cashbook in January 2024 after 41 years of software sales, marketing and management experience. Most recently, Tom spent eighteen years at Billtrust, joining as its ninth employee and exiting in 2023 after the company had grown to over 1,000 employees. Prior to Billtrust, Tom was Executive Vice President for eBudgets.com until its acquisition by Microsoft Great Plains.
Tom’s initial experience in cash management came in 1993 when he was President of ImageScan, a provider of wholesale lockbox imaging systems for banks. Tom earned a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
